Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Precise Tools PRED2F150HM Torque Wrench (3/8-Inch Drive Dial-Type with Memory Pointer, 150 lb-in.) by Richard Cuneo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Torque wrench in inches

I bought this to measure the preload on the transmission mounts in the rear which I was rebuilding. I don't have anything to compare the accuracy to, but I suspect it's close to a few inch-pounds. It has a dial pointer to record the maximum torque reading, but be aware that it will add 2lb-in to the reading as the moving pointer pushes it, the needle will not stop exactly where the dial pointer stops. The key comes in a hard plastic case, which is good for storage but not for portability. Which brings me to how the wrench was shipped, it's supposed to be a precision tool, but you throw the hard case in the box with no seal or packaging. So you have a hard suitcase that bounces in the box. Really seems like a bad way to ship a precision instrument hence the 4 star rating.
