I have been using this kit for a few weeks now and am generally very happy with it. However, some items are poorly made and after the first time I could not use them. Some items, on the other hand, are great. Follow-up: After I posted my first review, the seller contacted me asking what items were poorly made and the seller suggested I fix the issue. To be clear from the items I've used, I've had issues with creases and nicks. They sent me a replacement set (fewer items but one contained 2 items). The new beads are much better and work well. I haven't used the gutter yet, but I think the problem will be the same - the skin blocks the small blade and after that it doesn't channel. The seller indicated that they would work with the manufacturer to fix this issue and improve the tool. Accordingly, I have adjusted my rating to 4 starts and would recommend this set as a great starter set for leatherworking.
