Update 10/23/2019: I tried to use this flux for soldering a dchdmi slot cable for a direct current and even on a faded motherboard the solder appeared. SATISFACTORY, CANNOT TAKE A PHOTO. I HAVE A NEW DC MOTHERBOARD, NEW DCHDMI TAPES ETC. AND I CAN'T SHOW ANYTHING. I CHANGED SOLDER AND FLUX (MG CHEMICALS PASTE) AND DCHMI HAS NO PROBLEM. JUST TO MAKE SURE THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO ME, I ATTEMPTED TO SELL ANOTHER DCHDMI RIBBON CABLE TO AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DC MOTHERBOARD AND IT ATTACHED AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME WITHOUT REWORK. IT IS ALSO NOT EASY TO CLEAN WITHOUT BUYING YOUR BOARD IN DI WATER! DO NOT USE THIS FLUX FOR SMD/Circuit/PCB soldering. THIS FLUX BECOMES CONDUCTIVE AND IS NOT EASY TO REMOVE IF IT GOES UNDER A SOLDERED IC/COMPONENT. I'm sure this flux is great for other uses, but *****FOR SMD/PCB SOLDERING. Many Thanks. Original Rating: This is the best flux I have ever used to solder circuit boards. I'm not joking. It's noticeably better. Just touch the IC pins and they will soak up the solder so easily. I also noticed that this flux allows the solder to bond to metal at lower temperatures (265 degrees) than other activated fluxes I've used. is that when heated it leaves a black residue that can be easily wiped off with alcohol or chemical wipes.
