I use this with my 11 year old son to limit the time he plays on his PS4 and also the time he reads something (usually for homework). I bought the 60 minute version and now he doesn't keep checking his watch. Before, he could only look at his watch to see that he had just as much time left, now it's not so easy to judge just by the amount of sand left. I hope this will help him stop being so obsessed with the watch and just enjoy what he is doing. So far this works quite well. It works every time, it's well built and doesn't require batteries. What more can you ask for?
