These clamps are very durable and of high quality. The clamping action is the opposite of what I've seen with other clamp clamps. To secure the clip, push/pull the handle towards the rubber tip. It suits my needs exactly and I'm glad this particular design is available. I would suggest looking at the photos in the listing to make sure the direction of the clamp matches your specific needs. I am very comfortable.
