I bought this adapter, used it once, it worked fine but the power ran out quicker than usual. I used the pen as directed, my son who is in HVAC checked I'm fine. The next time I tried it, part of the thread that screws into the Soda Stream was leaking! I was suggested to try teflon tape, which I did. No no change so I removed the tape and tried again losing all the gas in the tank and trying to make two bottles of sparkling water! It is obviously a defective adapter. I emailed the company and they told me my PIN was too high and if I flushed it the problem would be solved! Not true. I emailed the company again and the gentleman asked me to check the tank to make sure it wasn't leaking which turned out not to be a fault. I have three tanks and none of them worked. After several emails they sent me a new adapter and I can say hooray! I have an adapter that works great.
