Review on Sister London by James Small

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great place where remote is welcome & encouraged

I worked with Sister as an intern at their NYC office in 2016. What impressed me most about working there was how collaborative they were throughout the process of getting hired to be part of their team - even though my skillset didn't match up perfectly to what they wanted out of someone coming into the role. It's been almost two years since then but I still really enjoyed being associated with them because it felt like a close-knit group. There wasn't much that I disliked about the experience overall; however, if you are looking for a more traditional or structured internship environment than this isn't necessarily going to fit your needs. Working remotely from home has its benefits! Being able to work from anywhere and collaborate effectively across teams, companies, offices, etc., without having to travel can save SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY. I'm currently freelancing full time so I have flexibility to choose when/where I want to work. They also offered a generous salary which helped offset some.
