Capacitor quality problem?
Just reading another review (2 Jan 2018) about a capacitor failure on their M98 2HP pump. I bought my pump in January 2015 and it failed in February 2018 - exactly three years, which is also the length of the warranty period. The pump turned off my GFCI output and after trying to get it to work I could smell the capacitor being cooked. I wonder if there was a problem with the processing of these parts at the time? I loved this pump when I first bought it based on the positive reviews, but would not buy this brand again.
