The key does what it is supposed to and has worked flawlessly so far.

I took this to use my digital meter and programmer. It seems to work fine and both work. A plug-in tuner can't say it's doing the damn thing. It's always on, even when the trucks are off, but who knows the key will do what it's supposed to.
