I can't say more about that. They are too strong for my trunk and do not work with auto open/close function due to gas psi. There are no clips at the end of the stem to attach it to the stem. You have to remove the clips from the factory clips, but they are a bit tight and you have to bend them to remove them, resulting in a not-so-sharp fit with these aftermarket clips. If I could close my trunk manually with no problems I probably wouldn't return them, but even manually I was afraid I'd bend something. I'll just go back to the factory racks and spend an absurd amount of money on them.
