Mom bought us these shirts when we were little - I liked them so much that I still wear this model (I wear it now). The inner layer is made of cotton and the outer layer is made of a blend of wool and cotton, which provides enough warmth without itching the skin. Love coming home from work and throwing it on - super comfy and warm so we can beat the heat a bit. Two things to note: this is not a "functional" shirt that wicks moisture, so best to just "wear" it - and don't tumble dry it as the sleeves can shrink a bit (I hang it up) . dry).
