I bought them in size 5-8 years for petite 46 inches. regular pants, but now I can distract the kid long enough to forget the trouble. Good stretch allows for breathability but I'm a little worried about how warm they will be in winter. At 50 degrees they're perfect.Each pair also features a pigtail design that's more suited to the holiday season than fall when they're more advantageous with the temperature. The design also clashes with the checkered uniform. I couldn't find any darker - gray long ribbed leggings for fall that weren't for babies so that was kind of a compromise. I also really only needed grey, but the seller is pushing these multipacks so now I have to keep everything and other pairs. Eventually I needed a pair that was colored and hooked. The hook is on the back of the thigh and the stain is high enough that I didn't bother going back and ordering a new one. Not terrible, but I'll probably try something different next year.
