I haven't received mine yet and I don't know how to attach it either. A friend of mine has one of these though and I have some experience with them as we live in Montana snow country. The blade attaches easier than most brands and the mounting bracket never needs to be removed to avoid damaging it or losing game in the summer. That sold me. Our local Yamaha dealer does not recommend this mounting system as it is said to reduce traction as most of the weight is on the front wheels. This hasn't happened to my friend who uses the smaller Yahmaha Grizzly. I have a 660 grizzly and no problems. When I have them, I buy fairly inexpensive ATV chains.
