Recommended!I live where beaches are very rocky, so the quality of the soles of water shoes is very important to me. These shoes have great traction, and are just rigid enough to make walking on our beaches with small stones and shells painless. Bigger, wet rocks? Not slippery! They also block the heat from pavement, even over a half-mile walk on city streets from a boat landing to the parking lot.The fit is true-to-size, and they're snug to the foot without being tight. I wear a women's size 8, and ordered the 7.5-8.5; perfect!The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they're slightly wonky where the fabric meets the sole at the heel. This is very minor to me, as it doesn't impact the actual fit or function, but it might bother people who are concerned with aesthetics. Again, this is only at the heel - see picture.
