I like the durability of this case! However, the plastic corners that extend beyond the edge make me a bit nervous because they are so tight that I am afraid of scratching the dial or breaking something. The watch is water resistant and that is one of the main reasons I bought it. The cap takes advantage of this property as it has to be taken off all the time and put on when it gets wet. I swim with him, shower with him, walk my dogs and walk in the rain. For some reason the water is always under the lid so I have to take the lid off, dry it and take the watch off and then carefully put it back on. It's kind of a pain. On the other hand, I do a lot of things that can damage and scratch the watch, so I need a case. But when I looked around, everything was fine with my watch because of this case. The inconvenience of water is nothing compared to the cost of repairing or replacing your watch!
