This is my favorite lens now

I paid a little more than they sell on eBay. However, this lens is now my favorite lens. Despite being an old lens, it reproduces color like no other lens I own, including the Nikkor 50mm and Tamron 70-200mm. The macro function is very useful. Some may say that this is not a real macro. However, I can get within a few inches of an object and that's enough for me. It's built like a tank, it's very sharp and I love the way you zoom with this lens. The only thing I don't like, but also doesn't mind, is that the outer lens rotates when focusing. This is not an internal focusing (IF) lens. Also, this lens definitely flickers faster than any other lens I own. However, this can easily be corrected by using the hand as a sight. However, I had no problems with these or any other properties. So they knew exactly how to make them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
