The cable that goes to the radio is cheap and cheap. Luckily I had thicker wire on hand. He removed the connector he had just disconnected and plugged it into a better cable. Works well, has a fluffy radio signal but good enough, can't complain. Magnet holds well, looks good on a pickup truck.
