Review on 🚲 MAXXIS TB96648100 Grifter Tire: Top-Notch Performance for 29 x 2.00 Bikes by Barry Taylor

Perfect for my HT 29er rims! At first I wanted an indoor winter trainer but didn't want to get stuck in the garage (boring). I've ridden them about 200 miles and they give a lot of feedback. The 2.0 is comfortable enough at 45 pounds in the rear and 40 pounds per square inch in the front. I weigh about 175 pounds and the comfort is great. The tread pattern inspires confidence even on wet roads. The sidewalls are stiff, unlike a traditional MTB tire. I mounted these tubeless tires with Stan's Notubes to keep the weight down (not sure if tubeless is recommended). So far so good, I always check the air pressure before every ride. The yellow Maxxis badges on each side of the tire are pretty cool too.
