Urban Assault Tires

My first set just wore out after about 5000 miles of commuting. Excellent tyres. Low rolling resistance, but you can reach curbs and rocks without getting pinched. I wish they could handle pressures higher than 65psi, but I'm not deducting a star for that.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Great mountain bike tire for city use

Great all round tire for city or track use. I bought these for my spare mountain bike rim so I can ride the surrounding roads and railroads during Michigan's off-season mountain biking. Very easy to install and inflate up to 55 pounds of pressure to start. They perform very well. The tires are turning really well, but not as fast as I was hoping. They look very durable and should last a long time when I'm driving around during winter break.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

The perfect tire for 29er HT road exercise trolleys!

Perfect for my HT 29er rims! At first I wanted an indoor winter trainer but didn't want to get stuck in the garage (boring). I've ridden them about 200 miles and they give a lot of feedback. The 2.0 is comfortable enough at 45 pounds in the rear and 40 pounds per square inch in the front. I weigh about 175 pounds and the comfort is great. The tread pattern inspires confidence even on wet roads. The sidewalls are stiff, unlike a traditional MTB tire. I mounted these tubeless tires with Stan's…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

I would not recommend this item or seller

These tires are rated for 65psi, but one of the tires I got from CyclingPros blew up just after 40psi. The tires came to me in soft plastic packaging, so it's not clear if the tire was defective at the factory or scratched/damaged in transit. When contacted, CyclingPros informed me that I damaged the tire while cutting the package. I don't know how this could have happened since I opened the package with my bare hands. I was offered a 'deal' for a replacement but I'm not sure I can trust this…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • The list will be long.
