Review on ASICS Men's Gel-Nimbus 21 Running Shoes: Supreme Comfort and Performance by Fernando Beck

This review has been moderated, ie censored, on the Asics website. I've been waiting for new models to hit stores for a couple of years since the 19's so I can see if Asics is listening to their customer base and moving forward. The format returned to the previous design philosophy, but no, not this year either. I walked into the store today, set my foot on these shoes with high hopes and immediately realized that they didn't recognize or listen to what their former regular customers were saying. I've worn Gel Nimbus for years but haven't bought a new pair since the 19s which was the last straw. The balance of stability and cushioning is achieved where this shoe feels like concrete to me now. The sizes where I used to know my exact size are now all skewed and I have to ask for 4 different sizes to determine what Nimbus my size will be this year? Asics, you've lost MANY loyal customers, join the program and go back to the time-honoured, old-format sneakers: 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and in a pinch 19 and ditch the 20 and 21. . Until then, don't count me if I'll spend money on your shoes, I'd rather have them in my wallet or spend it on a brand other than Asics for the foreseeable future.
