Bad design good for running

Don't waste your time or money with these Acics. very uncomfortable and poorly designed shoes. I sent them back for a refund.

Hard as a rock. when running on the road

The shoe has no arch support and I felt like the balls of my feet were walking on bare asphalt. No depreciation. More like Gel-Kayano X 10.

Pros
  • Easy adjustment
Cons
  • No automatic adjustment

Amazing comfort for a high arch

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Room for my toes to wiggle while providing amazing support for healing. It's padded to absorb a lot of impact and also helps reduce stress on the ankle. Excellent delivery. Overall YAY for this product and excellent fast shipping by the seller.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Serious? Best in Running

In previous versions I see a lot of reviews where people complain about minor changes in versions. So when I read the reviews about how something changed in this version, I ignored them and that was a big mistake. This version is very bad. I'm not sure where ASICS is going with this. It has changed significantly and the structured comfort fit that I loved so much about the Nimbus line is completely gone. It feels stiff and unsupportive, like $20 sneakers from a big department store. I would…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

This is not a gel halo, this is a pair of squats for retired athletes.

As the owner of 16 pairs of Gelhalos from Nimbus 15 onwards I am again increasingly frustrated with the design and production of 21. I feel in these arms like an old man in a pair of falcon designed shoes. 15 was by far the best model they produced, why change it and improve the design? There are two noticeable bulges on the arch of my heel, and they don't match the halo's name. Re-imagining the 15 with a reinforced toe and halo is the perfect shoe. Why doesn't ASICS listen to its customers?

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I repeat, Asics Nimbus buyers beware.

Well if you wear Asics Nimbus shoes regularly like my husband and I are 21 years old then this is the worst purchase we've ever made. Asics changed the design, see picture (21 left, 19 right. 20 equals 19). Since they changed the tread design, I believe they also changed the arch support and cushioning in the heel and footpad. I treat spurs and wear school boots. 21st is the most painful shoe I've ever warned about. When my feet started to hurt from other Asics generations, it was time to…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

Midfoot too narrow - 10(4E)

Like many other reviewers, I was excited for the Nimbus 21's release. Recent versions have gotten too narrow in the midfoot so I was hoping the latest version would go back to the glory days of the 17's when shoes fit almost EVERY foot shape from heel to toe. What I found were the 4E running shoes, which seemed pretty disjointed. The shoes reminded me of an XL T-shirt with a small neckline. The midfoot is still too narrow and doesn't allow for a graduated width that starts right in front of the

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not this year. Reposting my review I posted on the Asics website.

This review has been moderated, ie censored, on the Asics website. I've been waiting for new models to hit stores for a couple of years since the 19's so I can see if Asics is listening to their customer base and moving forward. The format returned to the previous design philosophy, but no, not this year either. I walked into the store today, set my foot on these shoes with high hopes and immediately realized that they didn't recognize or listen to what their former regular customers were…
