No sound from the speakers, but the audio receiver is still on!

Great product! Amazing price! The only downside is the 300w radio amp it puts out. If you connect more than four speakers with the built-in equalizer and LOUDNESS ON button without amplifier upgrades, the system will mute all sound. (Built-in safety feature so your deck doesn't burn) None of the speakers make any sound. You will need to reconnect your speakers to reset your Soundstream VR-623B in order for your audio to work again. Set the equalizer to your liking and leave the LOUDNESS selection off! I recommend getting a good separate crossover for any of your upgraded amps that you install. Use the Soundstream VR-623B with built-in EQ, crossovers and additional amps to find the sound you're looking for. Any adjustment made with the LOUDNESS button on the Soundstream VR-623B will mute any sound coming into your speakers. In this case, restore the speaker connection to reset the Soundstream VR-623B. Do not use the LOUDNESS button. Leave! Everything will be fine. It's still a good 300W audio player for the money. I recommend buying an expensive unit and spending the extra money to avoid this headache on any cheap aftermarket radio. You get what you pay for :)
