Don't waste your money

Where to start? If you're looking for an inexpensive touchscreen stereo that's slow to respond, has its EQ reset every time you turn the car off, and doesn't show you how well a song is playing, then this gem is for you. I'm sending it back because I don't know. if resetting the EQ is a downside, but I keep telling myself it should be. Who would build a stereo that shows up on the EQ to save your settings but the sound says otherwise? Looks like I'll have to pay the shipping costs to send thisโ€ฆ

Does NOT play MP4 as advertised.

Sounds great, looks great, but doesn't play MP4s as advertised. The product page and box says it will play MP4. I couldn't play MP4 or AVI files from a USB drive no matter how hard I tried. It just shows that the video codec is not supported. Plays mp3 perfectly. The DVD works great. Lots of ins and outs for options. It's also nice to be able to choose an RGB color. The Bluetooth mic sounds too quiet for callers when people say I sound very far away, but it really works. The manual andโ€ฆ

Great receiver but you need to buy other things to complete the mount.

So far, so good! I installed it on my 2004 Suburban and quickly found that I needed to purchase a few items to install it. I have a Bose system so I had to buy a CRUX SOCGM-17B GM Class II head. Block replacement interface with reinforced Bose system. The unit doesn't come with a faceplate mount, so I had to buy one. Metra Electronics 95-2001 dual din install kit for some 1990 and later GM vehicles I also found that GM thought it would be good to replace the standard size radio antenna that has

Great sound (with poor user interface)

Update I bought this stereo for 3 main reasons: - listening to podcasts from my iPhone - keeping the iPhone battery charged - taking hands-free calls For me it does all three things on par of what should have been a high-end car radio just 6 years ago. However, this device has one terrible flaw: UI (user interface). To this day, I've never managed to set the system to always play what I'm listening to on my phone outside the car. Whenever I get in the car and set up the USB charging cradleโ€ฆ

No sound from the speakers, but the audio receiver is still on!

Great product! Amazing price! The only downside is the 300w radio amp it puts out. If you connect more than four speakers with the built-in equalizer and LOUDNESS ON button without amplifier upgrades, the system will mute all sound. (Built-in safety feature so your deck doesn't burn) None of the speakers make any sound. You will need to reconnect your speakers to reset your Soundstream VR-623B in order for your audio to work again. Set the equalizer to your liking and leave the LOUDNESSโ€ฆ

Has a lifespan of approximately 2000 hours.

I'm a delivery driver, so I use the radio all the time at work, on the way to school, around town, etc. That's about 40 hours of use per week. Worked great for the first 6 months, then bluetooth started to fail - each time I had to switch between all 'channels', via radio, aux, spotify, etc. and finally back to bluetooth, and then hope it connected is or I would have to do the whole thing all over again. This frustrated me to the point where I simply turned off Bluetooth (which meant I was able

Great budget receiver with lots of features

I was looking to buy a branded budget bluetooth stereo system for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma and decided to go for it. The 87-Up Power 4 speaker was very comfortable. I soldered and heat shrunk all the connections inside the house (I don't have an amp or antenna so I taped those wires) before going into the cold garage. Accessing the regular radio took about 15 minutes. I removed the stock radio brackets and installed them on the new receiver, put everything back together and after a total of 30โ€ฆ

Great device at ANY price - read insider tips

Let me start by saying this is a great radio. I have bought others for various vehicles including the one it is currently installed in and this is by far my favorite. So much so that I bought a second one for my mom's car. I highly recommend it. Playback sounds fantastic, even with the factory speakers, and there are tons of adjustments you can make to get the exact sound you want. I listen to different genres, from classical to hip-hop and rock. Everything about this unit sounds great andโ€ฆ
