Great budget receiver with lots of features

I was looking to buy a branded budget bluetooth stereo system for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma and decided to go for it. The 87-Up Power 4 speaker was very comfortable. I soldered and heat shrunk all the connections inside the house (I don't have an amp or antenna so I taped those wires) before going into the cold garage. Accessing the regular radio took about 15 minutes. I removed the stock radio brackets and installed them on the new receiver, put everything back together and after a total of 30 minutes the stereo turned on. It took me another 30 minutes to enjoy the awesome new sound coming out of my old truck. I was able to route the Bluetooth mic cable through a slot in my fairing, allowing me to hide the cable without removing the dash. I used the included clip to attach the mic to the sun visor. I thought a microphone would bother me but I don't even realize it. I like the custom color LED surround and display backlighting. I managed to match the backlight color with the rest of the buttons on my truck and it gives it a very classy look. I will say that the menus aren't very intuitive and it helps to have the manual handy while you figure it out. The receiver took about a minute to recognize my iPhone 6 via Bluetooth. Now it connects before I can turn on the broadcast. Bluetooth sound is excellent. I made half a dozen phone calls while driving and everyone said I sounded great. Everything just works. Radio reception is just as good as it came out of the box, and I love that the display shows any text that's being broadcast over the airwaves. The radio features are fairly standard; 3 FM/2 AM channels to set your favorites when spending time in different places. I listen to the radio every day. By plugging my phone into the USB port, I can use Pandora and Mixtrax. I found the Mixtrax a bit useless when it went from "I Love It" (120bpm) to Californication (80bpm). There may be some bugs in this application that need to be fixed. I don't like that the receiver automatically switches to USB when you plug in your phone, e.g. B. if I want to charge my phone and continue listening to the radio. This is probably my only complaint. The sound is superb through my 6.5" kicker speakers. I'm considering buying another one for my other car. For a budget head unit I don't see how this can be beat.
