Effective but a bit harsh for my taste.
Gets the job done with no problems. My only complaint is that the metal rakes that come in contact with your skin are a bit sharp (may be a big plus for some). I felt like I had to control the force I was using while scratching in order not to damage the skin with this device. The others I've used aren't as spicy. I don't know if filing down the edges to make them darker is also a good idea. For now I will continue to use them. It's cheap and does the job.
- If you feel itchy in some parts of your body that your hand cannot reach, you can use this back scratcher to help you. It has a real finger touch effect, and the edges are smooth after grinding, which will not hurt your hands and skin during use.
