Review on ๐ง ACDelco Professional 252-947 Engine Water Pump: Superior Performance for High-Performance Engines by Dave Hunt
Quality is good, no plastic.
No plastic impeller on factory water pumps and most aftermarket pumps. This ACDelco pump has a cast aluminum impeller. I've used them on several Chevrolet Aveos and haven't had any problems with them. I've never had problems with the plastic impeller on GM 1.6 liter engines, but I've seen enough problems on other cars that I don't want to use it unless it's needed. This pump seems to be the best choice.
