I usually make my own blank ATCs out of good heavyweight paper but I've had a hectic week when I was very short on time, I bought these for group art project for the young artist club. All the kids had different ways of using these cards creatively with a variety of mediums (watercolors, markers, pens, ink and stamps, glue sticks, collage materials, crayons, glitter glue) and these smooth blank cards held up well and didn't bleed through from MODERATE marker use, but children with heavier hands using the marker had some (crying) on their backs. They hold water color well too, but when a lot of wet-on-wet techniques are used a little warping does occur. They are good for what they are and I would buy them again if the need arose.
