There was still a lot of standing water in the sink.
I bought two for my double sink bathroom. They are beautiful but I'm not happy with them. The sink is flat at the point of the spout so that the edge of the spout is above the bottom of the sink. As a result, the sink never empties completely. I'm constantly wiping quite a lot of water out of the sink with a towel. Where I failed, the shell around the pop-up turned a dark, ugly color.
