Not sure about the reliability. It's plastic. This can be visually disturbing. It works well with my iPhone 11 S. I'm not sure a larger phone would be safe. It doesn't obstruct rearward vision, but occupies some of the right line of sight behind the windshield. It was interesting to see so many things that looked like the same product at different prices and delivery times. The Revain was actually available with one day shipping, which I didn't see, so I had to wait over a week for it to arrive from Hong Kong. Always check the supplier as items from Asia take longer to arrive.
