Review on PARAMED Aneroid Sphygmomanometer – Manual Blood Pressure Cuff With Universal Cuff 8.7 - 16.5" And D-Ring – Carrying Case In The Kit – Pink – Stethoscope Not Included by David Dortch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

BP Cuff for the first time

I recently purchased this because I got accepted into nursing school and they advised us we needed a manual one for labs. It took me forever to choose one and I finally decided to go with the one Paramed offered. The first one I ordered though seemed like someone had used it and returned it because it was not in well condition so I returned it and reordered another one. The second one that came in was MUCH better and in brand new condition. I did that because I wanted to make sure my equipment for school worked and didn’t have to worry about false readings.I got to finally test it out yesterday and I enjoyed it. On a scale of 1-5 I would give it a 4. I wouldn’t say it’s completely a 5 because the instructions on how to take a blood pressure were a little confusing on appropriate tightness and the gauge was hard to fiddle with and holding everything together but overall a good experience.

Pros
  • Bought it to keep track of my boyfriend's blood pressure.
Cons
  • Difficult to read the gauge
