Review on Clover 340 Chibi Darning Needles by Kristen Simpson

I was using straight needles to finish my knitting or crochet projects until I saw a friend who was using one. Bought two sets. I used my new needle last night and it was MUCH EASIER than a straight needle. The curved tip grabs the stitch you want and you don't have to press it with your hand to pull it up. The gold color of this needle made it easy to see, the size made it easy to control, the size of the eye made it easy to "thread" the yarn, and the smoothness made it glide over the stitches. Feedback that it was "cheap". I do not agree. I've used plastic embroidery needles in the past and they aren't plastic and don't feel intangible. I like the size and had no trouble using it in my light worsted project. For very fine yarn it may maybe be too big, but it probably depends more on the density and elasticity of the stitch/yarn in question.
