Not required on a really good camera as the photo quality is marginal at best. I would recommend using this product as follows: - Install in a new hunting location to view/display activity and then replace with a standard quality game camera. - Use the Cell Adapter camera for scouting tactics to see if the new location is worth it. this before time is wasted. In addition, the adapter has a standard SD card size, so it is not compatible with cameras that require a micro SD card. The adapter doesn't snap into the SD card slot very well, so care must be taken during setup and installation to ensure the connection is not lost.
