I like that the base of the three legs can be adjusted to a narrow or wide base. I also like the clip that holds the iPad! It is easy to open and stretch. Before that, I returned another tripod because it held the iPad in two corners, not straight sides. Mechanically, this is much more reliable when turning the iPad on and off. Several reviewers were unhappy as it appeared to be a manufacturing defect. Mine was very well made. The gooseneck and tilt ball actually work really well on the iPad. Easy to set up. I removed the case from the iPad so there was enough room to mount the iPad.
