So when I first unboxed this I was worried it might not be leather. It was stiff and weird textured. But it smelled like leather, so I thought I would give it a chance. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it has softened into this lovely heavy duty little pouch I love. I've even dumped my pencils out of it and used it for a bag when I needed just my phone I.d. and a credit card and left my big purse behind. It takes neutral polish beautifully. Zippers hold up to being very full but I have not owned it long. I will update if it gives out. I may order their makeup bag I've enjoyed it so much.
