serves my purpose in legacy systems
Got this for my American Wii in Germany so I didn't have to use a transformer. I was scared when I first plugged it in and started it up, but my 6 year old used it a lot and had no problems. The transformer heats up a little more than the previous (licensed) product, but I attribute this to the higher manageable voltage. A very good buy for the price.
