This is as good as any other flexible shaft. (An exception might be the two more expensive (and legitimate) competitors, which have a spin-lock knob right on the handle. No "L" tool required.) Otherwise, it holds up well, works flawlessly, and doesn't overheat. even with prolonged use under "light" conditions. I haven't really emphasized it, but I think his performance will be similar to most others. I think the two best things about it are the price and the cool name. You no longer have to pay for an almost identical product, of which there are many, and you will definitely love the tool that says "Drilax"!
