Our cats seemed to know exactly what these plastic groomers were for and how to use them right away. No manuals required! They were easy to install with the very strong double-sided tape. The screws though are very small, and the holes are not placed far enough out from the corner to miss the metal cornerbead used in drywall construction. So, you will need to pre-drill a 1/32" hole first. The catnip holes are a little too large to keep the catnip in place. The bristles are flexible but not "soft" which is perfect. Your cat, or pet, will only use as much pressure needed to make it enjoyable. I would recommend as a solid purchase, but they do have some minor flaws.
