Review on 🐸 Premium Amphibian and Reptile Sticks by Wardley by Andrea Walters

I recently became the owner of two adult red-eared sliders. They were kept in a 20 gallon tank where they could barely move, with no heat, light, or filter. The previous owner told me that they had refused to eat for a long time. I thought improving their conditions would get them eating and they were upgraded to a 110 gallon aquarium with a swim platform, proper lighting, canister filters etc. They seemed to be more active and alert and seemed to really enjoy the sunbathing, but still didn't eat. Their owner sent them 3 different brands of food and they all refused them. I've tried several products recommended online - dandelion greens, grated apple, mealworms, etc - to no avail. I began to fear that I was "saving" them only to see them starve! Desperate, I turned to Revane to see if I could find better food. I love Revain's feedback system and it helped me a lot this time. Several reviewers said their turtles could only eat Wardley's, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! I threw some sticks in the turtle tank - problem solved. Without hesitation, without biting or spitting out the rest - they ate each stick in seconds and walked to the edge of the aquarium to ask for more! is different. Here are the first 3 ingredients of each: Wardley's - Fish Meal, Ground Corn, Poultry Byproduct Meal Zoo Med Turtle Food, Preservation Formula - Wheat Flour, Soy Flour, Wheat Flour Tetra ReptoMin Floating Food Sticks - Fish Meal, Wheat Starch, Dried Turtle Floating Sticks with All Living Yeast - Fish Meal, Wheat Flour, Soy Meal I'm no expert and can't tell which ingredient is better for turtles than another. But Wardley's formula is clearly different, and this could explain why it's so well received or not fed by fussy turtles. If your turtles aren't eating well and willingly, I highly recommend trying Wardley's.
