I bought this to sand my dining table for refinishing. I almost bought a similar DeWalt product, but it was worth ten bucks and I reconsidered my strategy for buying big name products. Nowadays, brand names are still outsourced, so often there is no difference, and sometimes brand names are inferior to their competitors. There was a time when all of my hand-held power tools were Skill products. I think the time has come back. The grinder has too much power; Dust pickup is excellent only with the included nozzle, which quickly filled with what appeared to be more dust as I sanded down the surface. The vibration is barely perceptible, so my hand no longer suffered from phantom vibrations afterwards. Mind you, I've only been using it for about an hour and a half as of this writing, but unless it just gets up and dies on me I guess I'll just keep using it. I'm looking for anything negative about this product and the only thing I can think of is that I couldn't just plug my vacuum directly into it. I don't think you can do that with any grinder, and now that I think about it, the manifold is so good and cleans so easily that I probably wouldn't have gotten hurt if I wasn't doing production work. the inconveniences of a vacuum hose anyway. I'll knock on wood not to regret any of my words, but I feel like I don't need to worry about that. I saved $40 at DeWalt and didn't buy a nylon bag, but I don't care.
