In my opinion the only good thing about this product is that it was able to color my pre-lightened hair (up to level 7-8) a color that can be described as an "intense red". ". Also, I have found that the process of applying this dye and keeping it clean is a huge headache. The almost gel-like texture of the color makes it difficult to apply, whether with a brush or with gloved hands, compared to a regular liquid or creamy formula. It's still bleeding in the shower after a week and a half and transferring to towels and pillows when I'm used to it happening *only* on the first wash. I've used cream colors in the past with very good results, so it's not because I have unrealistic expectations or because I don't know how to care for my colored hair. I highly recommend sticking with something more tried and true than this scar.
