I always buy ink in advance so I don't run out of ink in the middle of a big project. I put a new large black cartridge in a Canon printer on a Friday night in the middle of a big project (of course!) and restarted the printer and it only printed colors. I stopped printing, took out the cartridge and the foam pad where the ink comes out was dry. I pressed a dry piece of paper onto the pad and there was some ink in there, so I replaced the cartridge. Started again, no black ink from large cartridge. I ordered a large box of poles, 3 of each color and 3 large black ones. I opened another large black cartridge, pocketed it, same thing. Opened the third cartridge, put it in, SAME SAME! Had to drive into town (30) miles to Staples for a new cartridge. Dissatisfied. It was the weekend and I couldn't reach anyone for 9-5 hours. Now I'm stuck with a box of 3 color cartridges that I'm not sure will work and FOUR black cartridges. EZ Ink, you risk losing a loyal customer.
