a college student who needed a backpack big enough for my 17 inch laptop, books, stationery, a light jacket and everything I needed to carry around during the day and this backpack served the purpose. The bag says it was made in China; However, the quality of this bag is excellent. The canvas is thick and the bag itself was a good weight. This bag has two side pockets and one front pocket, each with two rivets on each side of the flap and a magnetic clip in the middle. The main compartment has a drawstring closure with two magnetic closures on the sides of the flag. Inside you have 2 zippered compartments, one of which is one and the other is on the opposite side where 3 smaller compartments are attached. You then have a compartment that seems designed for a laptop/tablet; However, my 17 incher did not fit in this compartment, it only fit in the main compartment of the bag. So far I like this bag so much that I bought a second one in khaki. The only thing I would warn you about is to be careful how much weight you are putting in the bag because the webbing is just a reinforced canvas and after a certain weight you start to tighten it. For example, one day I have to admit that I dragged myself and my bag, carrying my 17 inch laptop (not just considering the weight), the laptop charger, the tablet, two large thick textbooks, two notepads and a pencil case have. , jacket, wallet and water bottle on the side. Not only did I have problems, but also the bag, because it was too heavy for any everyday backpack. Also, I haven't had any issues with this backpack so far and will update it.
