Review on 🚴 Giro Montaro MIPS Helmet: Top Choice for Adult Dirt Cycling by Ryan Nguyen

This is a closed review. I haven't traveled with him yet. I'll update when I do. This is my second Giro bike helmet. My first saved me from a serious/permanent injury a few weeks ago when I fell off my gravel bike and hit my head on the pavement pretty hard. I wanted one with a visor and maybe a little more ear/neck protection. After carefully researching other BIG helmets, I settled on this one based on the visor and previous rescue experience from the Giro. It didn't disappoint. It fits *perfectly* my 10" head, with room for my skullcap to keep sweat out of my eyes. It sits nice and low on my head, about an inch above my eyebrows, which is considered the perfect height. It's very comfortable and light. Although this is a dirt bike helmet, I use it on my road bike because of the visor. All trails in Southern California run north-south, so in winter you're facing the sun half the time, so having a visor is great .
