I didn't install the antenna so I can't rate it an exact 1 as it requires a number. I attached the connecting wire to the antenna and placed the magnet base on top of the car. I didn't want to install the wiring until I could position the antenna in a good spot in the car for good reception and aesthetics. I had to go to the store and left the antenna on the roof of my car. I got onto the freeway, the speed limit was 65 miles per hour, and I overtook. To my surprise, the antenna flew off my car. I was lucky that the antenna didn't hit any of the cars behind me. Unfortunately, since it was a motorway, I could not restore the antenna. I now have the cost of the antenna and ball topper that I ordered. In my case, the strength of the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold securely at 65 mph. My plan A failed, so it's time to move on to plan B.
