These gloves are warm and comfortable. However, due to the extra thickness of insulation, the fingertips are too large and bulky to press on the small areas needed to operate the phone. The fingertip spans more than one label, which almost always activates none or the wrong one. Maybe a tablet, but not a phone. Better to use thin skin-tight split leather gloves (e.g. police gloves) that work just as well on the phone screen. However, you won't be as warm if that's your main concern.
