Must buy, no adapter needed

I bought this Fumoto Oil Drain Valve (F106SX, M14-1.5) for my late 2018 Mazda3 (Touring Hatchback, 2.5L SkyActiv engine) and I have to say , it fits great! No adapter required. For reference, the fumoto diagram says to tighten it to 18 ft.lbs (which I did). To install (after all old oil has been drained) carefully clean the oil pan around the drain plug and ENSURE there is no old washer on it. Apply a small amount of new, fresh oil to the o-ring on the valve body, the o-ring on the banjo bolt, and the polished interior surface where the bolt (and its o-ring) goes. While loosely holding the bolt in the valve body, hold the body with one of the bolts and use FINGERS to thread the banjo bolt into the oil pan. Once the screw o-ring touches the valve body, carefully continue to screw, being careful not to pinch the o-ring (mine didn't even try to pinch). Once it's in place and you can't screw it in with your fingers, grab a torque wrench set for (18 ft-lbs for the F106SX M14-1.5) 17mm socket and pull tighten the screw while holding the case. I only used the plastic holder because it was included, but I can't imagine it's actually needed. I also ordered a hose/connector set to make the process easier and cleaner. Because the gap between the removable plastic aero cover and the bottom of the oil pan is minimal, I angled the valve body so the drain goes slightly down rather than straight down. In this position there is enough space for the inspection flap. Alright, enough guidance. I LOVE this valve! No drips, no leaks. Changing the oil becomes much easier and less messy. Now I need to get one of these for our other vehicles!
