Review on πŸ”‹ ACDelco 48-Count AA Batteries: Maximum Power Super Alkaline, 10-Year Shelf Life, Recloseable Packaging Blue by Kristin Bell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality AA batteries tested by me and rated above A+

Quality AA alkaline batteries at a good price. You know we're always bombarded with TV and other commercials about how great little batteries can be. I thought it would be interesting to test them. I used a Fluke DMM which I calibrated with a precision regulated DC power supply that was verified for accuracy on a Tektronix oscilloscope. Out of the box I first measured 4 different brands of AA cells with no load using only a Fluke multimeter. Delcos first measured 1.63 volts with no load and 1.54 volts with load on the flashlight bulb. Outstanding well above the reviews. Duracell and Energizer perform almost equally well at 1.53 under load, which is also very good. The BJ batteries didn't fare as well, measuring just 1.4 under load and 1.5 without load. Conclusion: AC DElco AA batteries work just as well as the significantly more expensive Duracell and Energizer batteries and are worth buying. This is true if you use many of these types for remote controls or other small battery powered electrical devices. Worth the money and highly recommended as tested with precision equipment.
