Men's sizes are too big for my daughter and she didn't see the benefit of the square cap.

Great fit but make sure you understand all sizes are mens = they will be oversized if you order your normal womens size. The toe of the shoe is higher than usual on women's shoes, which can accentuate the downward slant of your toes a little more, but my daughter was uncomfortable with that. The canvas also didn't feel particularly stretchy to fit around the foot and arch, but maybe that would be hard to tell because they were too big? We will return these.
