There is no magic saddle. You need to ride more, have the right shorts and a little suede oil never hurts. However, a good gel saddle will help eliminate some of the rough edges. I bought it for mountain biking and it was a very good choice. When there's a hard hit that your suspension doesn't handle well, having a forgiving saddle is a lot nicer than having a rock hard thing come down on you. For road cyclists, I would call that a fifty mile saddle. It feels pretty good up to this point. At the 70 mile mark you will notice that the nose is a bit wider. I cannot stress enough that there is no such thing as a magic saddle. Really good shorts outperform any saddle. If you're having trouble, make sure your saddle is the right width (Ned to measure your sit bones) and make sure the saddle height is right and the seat tilt is right for you. After that it's all about miles.
