This whip is ideal for beginners. Definitely made with great care and quality finish for the price. If oiled, cracked in the air or in the grass, and kept indoors away from animals and sharp objects, this whip will last a while. The quality versus the price is excellent. There are whips that can cost $1,000 or more, so at that price, getting a hand braided whip is a great deal. This whip comes with care instructions and 2 extra tip crackers. It has a nice crackle. Leave the whip loose with a few snaps, it's quite stiff after shipping, but that's to be expected. There will be a "breaking in" period when the whip becomes "more fluid" like leather work gloves or a baseball dart, it takes a little work/whipping to get nice and loose.
